After finding out our kids’ passports are not valid for an electronic US visa just 2 days before we had planned this trip the first time around, we were pretty bummed but just postponed everything to this May. And even though we lost some money on bookings etc and were disappointed to say the least, it worked out well – maybe even better – this way, as usual.
We started in LA where we spent a few days in Venice, drove up to Yosemite to camp, hike and just soak up nature. Next stop was Monterey and Big Sur followed by Oakland, where we had a great time catching up with friends. We ended the trip in San Francisco, with some sightseeing, bike riding and freezing. We’ll be back for more one day!
